Description of goods –  Care has been taken to provide accurate information of every item within the shop, but if you need further information, please contact us by email. The colour of the goods may vary slightly from the photographs shown on the website, and there could be a slight variation in colours after batch changes on subsequent orders.

Quality/Performance – Because a Sloofa is a new product, it does take a little practice to get used to it, but we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please ensure that you refer to the instruction booklet and/or the online instructions and videos to ensure that you are using it correctly. Every Sloofa is handmade, and checked at various stages of its manufacture, so all should function as they’re supposed to, provided that they are used in accordance with the instructions.

VAT - Meadowfare is not currently VAT registered and as a consequence of such, VAT is not added at any stage of the process.

Do I look fetching?

 

Delivery Costs – these have been calculated based on the weight of the goods being ordered and are visible within the shopping basket prior to confirming the purchase. To keep the costs down for the consumer, second class postage has been selected for all goods ordered, and most goods over a certain weight will require a signature on delivery. If further details are required about this, please contact us. It may also be possible to send goods out quicker if customers are prepared to pay the additional postage costs, but at present, we’re unable to offer that option at the checkout, due to the limitations of the software. To view the postage costs without commitment, select the items you wish to order and add them to your basket, and the cost of postage will be included before you commit to a purchase. At that stage you can either proceed to payment or close the page.

Payment – Paypal is the only method of payment currently available at this time within the online shop, but customers do not need to register with Paypal to make a payment, and most debit and credit cards are acceptable to them. At no stage in the payment process are the details of any card numbers made available to us, even after payment. Occasionally, some Sloofas may be sold on other platforms such as Ebay and the like, where you could find alternative payment options.

If any customer would prefer not to use Paypal, payment can also be made by cheque, but you will need to contact us by email without going through the online checkout process.

Packaging- all goods will be supplied in sealed plain envelopes or polythene bags, but boxed for large orders if we deem necessary. An instruction booklet will be sent for each sling purchased, but please let us know if you require any additional copies.  Instructions are also available on this website, including demonstration videos.

Returns - Online Orders - If you are not happy with the purchase please contact us as soon as possible by email at [email protected]  and we will send you a form to complete, but please return the goods within 7 days of them being delivered, and we will refund you for the cost of the items returned and the postage costs, (based on the weight of the returned goods). All returned goods should be in reasonable condition and undamaged. I regret that we are unable to refund the cost of any balls.

The consumer will be responsible for the postage cost of all returned goods and they should keep a certificate or record of posting in case the goods are not received by us, as refunds will only be processed once we receive the returned goods.  All refunds at present, will be paid by cheque or postal order.

Defective goods – We want you to be happy with your purchase, so if you suspect that the Sloofa is faulty or defective within 3 months of its purchase, please contact us by email initially. A form will be sent for you to complete and we will consider replacing the item, although we reserve the right to send you its replacement in a different colour depending on the stocks available at the time. No refunds will be payable in this case. The cost of returning the faulty or defective item lies with the consumer, but we will pay the cost of sending out the replacement item. Please keep receipts of certificate or record of posting for returned goods, as we will not be responsible until the item is received. To qualify for a replacement, the returned goods will be inspected to ensure that the original components haven’t been changed or modified. We are unable to replace any slings which appear physically distressed through excessive or incorrect use.
